Our Spaces


Main Hall

A bright, versatile space that can be adapted to suit your event. The hall is divided into two rooms by a full‑length sliding divider, allowing you to choose the layout that works best for you.

  • Use as two separate rooms for smaller groups, workshops or multi‑activity sessions
  • Open up into one large hall for parties, celebrations and bigger events
  • Capacity approx. 60 seated / 80 standing
  • Direct access to lounge and kitchen

Lounge

A comfortable, relaxed space located directly adjacent to the kitchen, making it ideal for serving food, refreshments or providing a quieter breakout area during events.

  • Convenient access to the kitchen
  • Included with hall hire

Kitchen

 Well Equipped, With Optional Range Cooker Use

A well equipped kitchen designed to support everything from simple refreshments to full event catering. The space includes a large range‑style cooker with multiple electric ovens and a gas hob, giving you plenty of flexibility for preparing hot food.

  • Fridge, Freezer, kettle, microwave
  • Crockery and utensils included
  • Serving hatch directly into the Lounge
  • Adjacent to the lounge for easy food service
  • Use of the range cooker is available for a small additional charge of £10
  • Large range cooker with two electric ovens
  • Gas hob for fast, responsive cooking
  • All other kitchen facilities are included at no extra cost

Meeting Room

Our meeting room is a quiet, private space ideal for focused sessions, training and small group work. It includes modern presentation technology and its own comfortable breakout area, making it perfect for both professional and community use.

  • Large multimedia screen for presentations, videos and training
  • Laptop docking facilities for easy plug‑and‑play connectivity (Ctype)
  • Dedicated breakout area with two sofas for interpersonal conversations, reflective discussions or one‑to‑one chats
  • Tea and coffee facilities within the room for convenient refreshments
  • Seats 8–12 comfortably
  • Ideal for training sessions, interviews, planning meetings or committee work
  • Available to hire on its own or alongside the main hall

Outdoor Space

A fully fenced, grassed outdoor area located behind the building.

Our building backs onto the open common land behind The Star Inn, and hirers have private access directly from our car park. This makes the space ideal for groups who want to combine indoor activities with time outdoors.

Our centre is a charity run building that has its goals in providing activities for our local youth & community.

All of our hires contribute to its ongoing upkeep, running costs and future upgrades, with all profits put back into the centre.
